Fractional CFO Services
When you've outgrown bookkeeping but aren't ready for a $150k+ full-time CFO (or even more, lets face it; these executives are demanding 200k+ per year), we step in. As your outsourced fractional CFO, we handle the financial leadership your business needs to scale: accurate monthly closes, WIP reporting and job costing, IOLTA compliance and trust accounting, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, profit analysis, and lender-ready financials. We meet weekly or monthly via Teams, keep your books clean and compliant, and turn your numbers into a clear plan for growth both on-site in Northeast Ohio and remotely nationwide! (Tech rocks!)
Full Service Accounting Firm
We are your complete back-office team, not just your CFO. As a full-service accounting firm for construction companies and law firms, we handle everything from day-to-day bookkeeping to executive-level financial strategy. Board reporting and financial narrative drafting is one of my favorite things!
Full Service Accounting includes monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations, payroll, QuickBooks setup and cleanup, WIP reporting and job costing, IOLTA trust accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and fractional CFO leadership. Whether you're on-site in Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, Erie, and Sandusky counties or working with us remotely nationwide, you get one responsive team that keeps your books compliant, your numbers accurate, and your business ready to grow without the overhead of an in-house accounting department!
All Things Back Office
Before CBC 123, LLC, I spent nearly two decades as a Controller for SMBs ranging from $10M to $95M in annual revenue. In companies that size, you don't get to stay in one lane, you wear every hat. I did. I am so thankful for the oppotunity to expand beyond my financial skillset and develop the skills needed to effectively and efficiently cross collaborate for the benefit of the organizations.
I built back offices from the ground up and fixed the ones that were breaking under growth. That means process creation, implementation, and continuous improvement that actually works in the real world and in the day to day and not just on paper.
SOPs your team will actually follow, job cost workflows that tie to the field, month-end closes that happen on time, and controls that protect your cash.
Beyond the numbers, I lived in the details that keep a business running: contract review and redlines (Subs: make sure you get your retainage reduced at 50% of project completion!), lien compliance, vendor and subcontractor management, HR practices, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and owner reporting.
I know how operations, accounting, and compliance have to talk to each other because I was the person making them talk to each other. Departments are not allowed to operate in silos when I am around. Operating in silos is detrimental to the scaling of an organization.
Today, I bring that same controller mindset to contractors and law firms who need more than a bookkeeper. If your back office is held together by spreadsheets, memory, and one overworked office manager, we will systematize it, document it, and make it scalable so you can grow without the chaos!
